We have been very busy this week learning some nursery rhymes. The songs chosen for this year’s World Nursery Rhyme Week were Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Incy Wincy Spider, Hop Little Bunnies and Down in the Jungle. We had great fun making bunny ears. We also made our very own Incy Wincy. On Thursday we had the most fun of all when we made jungle animal masks! Mr Gilchrist called in to visit us and got a bit of a fright when he saw lots of lions, elephants, monkeys and crocodiles sitting on the mat! When he realised it was the boys and girls, he stayed to hear us sing our rhymes and was very impressed with all the words and actions! We worked so hard all week, we got a special certificate to take home!
