Our Primary 5 class had an ‘Egyptian’ themed lesson to start the day. We had a carousel of activities which included Egyptian pyramid puzzles for addition/multiplication, the construction of various 3D pyramids which included a square based pyramid and a hexagonal pyramid and finally we had virtual tasks on the Anton application. The highlight of the day was participating in the ‘Live Mathletics’ challenge. Mr Smyth was very impressed with how quickly the children progressed through the levels with some working up as far as level 5. Remember boys and girls that you can continue with the live challenges at home. A very productive and fun day in P5!
