There was great excitement in P4 this morning as the boys and girls logged on to Mathletics for ‘World Maths Day’. They added and subtracted single digits, two digit numbers and used their multiplication skills to achieve top scores. Mathletics is such a wonderful online, hybrid learning platform to help children consolidate their mental Maths skills in a fun, visual way!
Many thanks to the P4 parents who continue to encourage logging on each week at home to complete Mathletics tasks and quests. Keep logging on to help your child achieve their highest score this week and aim for their next Bronze, Silver or Gold Mathletics certificate as well as the giving them the opportunity to get into the ‘Mathletics Hall of Fame’ for World Maths Day!
Over the past few weeks, P4 have also been using Mathletics to develop their ‘Measures’ skills. ‘Measures’ is our whole school Maths focus for Term Two and Term Three. There are so many Mathletics tasks and activities which will help in this area for all year groups. ‘Measures’ includes length, area, temperature, mass/weight, capacity and time. Mrs O’Neill is just delighted with the enthusiasm and skills shown throughout the school. Keep up the great work everyone!🌟🏆
