Today our class got really engrossed in a range of ‘World Book Day’ activities. We began the day by talking about the theme ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ and how this statement can be applied to every day life. The boys and girls were introduced to their new novel ‘Why the Whales Came’. We watched the play for the book and listened to the audio version of the first chapter. They really enjoyed our class parade, making bookmarks, creating a mystery cover for their favourite book and the highlight of the day was completing the ‘World Book Day’ Kahoot quiz. Fantastic effort as always Primary Five!
