This week we continued our World Around Us topic by going out to the playground. Here we were challenged to find things that were made from a natural material and others made from a man-made material. After we played the finding game, we worked with a partner to collect any loose things we could find lying around so that we could investigate them. We started by looking at them through a magnifying glass to see what each thing looked like up close. Sometimes we found little bugs on things! Then we sorted them into natural and man-made. We discovered that almost everything was natural and the only two man-made things we found were things that did not belong in our playground. Look at our photos to see what we were doing.
