To coincide with Children's Mental Health Week, this week we are encouraging our pupils to express themselves in a variety of ways and in ways that make them feel good about themselves. We want them to realise that everyone is different and that our differences should be celebrated. Therefore, today as part of our Well-being Wednesday we are dedicating to EXPRESS YOURSELF WEDNESDAY.
Today we are encouraging our pupils to dress to express. They can wear whatever they wish ie the most recent trend, fairytale character, pop star, blogger, crazy hair, anything goes(within reason). Again we encourage you to send pictures of your child expressing themsleves to pgilchrist570@c2kni.net and we will add these to the website.
If you do not wish to dress up, you can continue to send picture of your child expressing themselves by doing their favourite activity. It could be through, painting, drawing, music, singing, dancing, poetry, story writing, drama, mime, rapping, walking, exercise and many, many more!
