It was great to see P4 make their way to their new classroom to meet their friends, their teacher Mrs O’Neill and their classroom assistant Shena. They had a truly fantastic day getting back into routine and taking part in a range of wonderful transition activities. From coming up with and discussing words to describe themselves, making affirmation chains and resilience bookmarks to understanding the importance of working as part of a team as well as following instructions and seeing the importance of rules. The class promised that they would be awesome problem-solvers and know what to do this year in case any little worries crop up in the classroom, playground or in book work. They saw both their ‘Positivity Box’ and their ‘Worry Box’. Mrs O’Neill was so delighted that everyone had a brilliant day. Well done boys and girls!🌟
