27th May 2020

It has been another lovely day and I am sure many of you have been enjoying this good weather. Dante enjoyed cycling up to the school and placing his ribbon on the railings. He was also surprised to meet a few of his classmates on his cycle and enjoyed a socially distanced chat with a few.

Lucas (P2) has been busy helping his dad to put up their own home-made Jungle Gym. There will be hours of fun spent on that soon and I am sure you can’t wait Lucas until you get it finished.

Ava (P3) has been very busy keeping up with her reading and on her walk she visited the local swans and stopped to feed them. Lochlan (P4) has been trying so hard to get fit and stay healthy over these last few weeks. He has been able to get up to level 7 in the healthy kidz app and is really enjoying trying out the sports day activities. I am delighted to hear this Lochlan. Keep up the great work. Leah (Nursery) has also been enjoying this week's topic in Nursery and she loves the book “What the Ladybird Heard.” She painted a picture of all her favourite things outside that make her happy and did some rock painting and made a ladybird family. As well as all of this Leah has been searching in her garden for a real ladybird but she has had no luck so far but she has seen plenty of butterflies. Hopefully you will find a ladybird soon Leah.

Tonight a Crewed Dragon capsule on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket capsule will launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. Tim Peake has been tweeting today that if we look west- to the right of the moon at approx. 9.20pm – you might see movement as it makes its way to the International Space Station. You can also see a live launch on https://www.facebook.com/NationalSpaceCentre/
