This week, as part of our ‘Data Handling’ topic in Numeracy, our P5 class have been working hard on Venn Diagrams. We linked the diagrams to our Titanic topic and times tables. The children were able to identify that common features went into the intersection of the diagrams and numbers or factors that were not relevant were placed around the outside. We had great fun working in groups of 3 practically in the hall comparing two different times table sets. What a great way to consolidate Venn diagrams!
