Following consultation with other local Principals (St Mary's Primary School, Kircubbin, St Mary's Primary School Portaferry and St Patrick's Primary School, Ballygalget) and in line with EA guidance regarding Storm Chandra, our school will be closed on Tuesday 27 January due to yellow and amber weather warnings. Our meal kitchens have also made the decision to close.
Strong winds and heavy rainfall are expected, creating hazardous travel conditions. To ensure the safety of pupils, staff, and families, we believe closure is the most appropriate decision.
We will provide further updates if required. The school is scheduled to reopen as normal on Wednesday.
