P4 had a busy start to the week when they completed a ‘Procedural Writing’ piece based on reading, following and writing a short recipe. They made some delicious and healthy vegetable soup. Everyone took part and some children tasted it and agreed it was yummy scrummy!
P4 also had a special delivery in the form made of a wonderful Blue Peter ‘Climate Heroes’ certificate presented to them for all their Eco work last year. They were delighted! We are all very proud and we know that they will continue on this journey.
P4 worked on their wonderful Mental Maths and some relaxing mindful art afterwards. They are loving their ‘New Wave’ Maths textbooks and logging on to IXL as well as lots of amazing websites which help with school and home learning.
They reflected on Friday’s mass and examined their ‘Apostles’ topic for Grow In Love. All P4 prayers and responses are contained within their ‘Home/School Grow In Love Booklets’. With such a special sacramental year ahead, it is important that all boys and girls can join in with all of these important little prayers. I’m also sure that parents, grans and grandads would be more than happy and proud to help in all these lovely little areas.
