St. Brigid’s Crosses in P7
30th Jan 2026
P7 pupils enjoyed making St Brigid’s Crosses, learning a tradition that has been passed down through generations. It was lovely to see the skills many grandparents learned as children being shared once again, as pupils discovered the meaning behind the crosses and the care needed to weave them correctly. Carrying on this tradition helps keep our culture and faith alive, reminding us of the importance of family, heritage and learning from those who came before us.
Thank you Catherine Mageean, Phillip Moreland and Catherine Smyth Denvir for coming to our class
