The School Council held their first meeting of 2024 on Monday and what a productive meeting it was for everyone. Mrs O’Neill thanked the councillors for all their hard work in helping with the promotion and organisation of the fundraising efforts for St. Vincent de Paul and the N.I. Hospice prior to Christmas. Second on the agenda; thoughts of school supplies and resources were at the forefront of the minds of the councillors. They had a look at some catalogues and will consult with Mr Gilchrist, their respective teachers, assistants and classmates before a final decision is made and orders are completed. Finally, the council showed great leadership skills in taking on the responsibility for what will be a wonderful ‘Positive Growth Mindset’ display in the school foyer with help also from Cindy and Sam. Watch this space to see some fantastic artwork and motivational phrases which will inspire and delight our whole school.
