We had some special visitors in our Primary 6 and 7 classes this morning as we took time to celebrate St Brigid's day by making our St Brigid crosses. Thank you to all who came along to help pass on the important tradition of making St Brigid crosses. We really appreciate the time and effort taken to initially source the rushes, demonstrate them being made and for taking the time to ensure that every pupil got an opportunity to make their own cross.
We will be taking our crosses to mass tomorrow morning where Father Feargal will bless them. We will then send the crosses home to be displayed somewhere within your home.
