Karen from RSPB was in the school today as part of the "Big Bird Watch" RSPB project. She talked to the children in the classroom about looking after our birds in the Winter and showed them a Winter vegetable garden containing many birds and bugs. The pupils then went outside to identify birds around the school. They saw Robins, Blackbirds, Red Kite, Bluetits and Seagulls. The pupils were very engaged and really enjoyed their morning. We are looking forward to doing our own bird watch in school.
