Karen from RSPB came into school today to help us gather some data about the birds in our school playground. We had lots of fun using the binoculars to identify the many birds in our school environment. We were very lucky and saw lots of different species of birds such as the Carrion crow, Chaffinch, Starling and the Coal tit. Karen talked to us about the importance of leaving food and water outside for the birds in Winter.
