This term we are looking at procedural writing in English. Today in class we made our own fruit and veg smoothies ! Children were randomly selected to add an ingredient of their choice, from the selection available, to blend into our smoothie. We made two different drinks and the children thoroughly enjoyed them both. Both were made from a mixture of carrots, cucumber, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, oranges, watermelon, grapes and pineapple.
Next week we will look at the features of instructional writing and write up the procedure for making a smoothie!
