Today Miss Savage took up her new role of Principal at St Mary’s Primary School, Portaferry. To begin her day she took our whole school Assembly, giving out certificates and making all of the weekly announcements. We then visited each class to inspect the quality of learning being delivered by her new teaching staff. Miss Savage then conducted a whole staff meeting in the staff room and finished of her day doing some office work and dismissed all pupils from the school grounds. Miss Savage said she really enjoyed her busy day and observed that there was so much to do although she did not want to stay behind after school to complete all of the necessary office work!
