Yesterday (Thursday) our Primary 4 class went on their sponsored walk. We tied in our walk with our current topic work of rescue at sea. We stopped and took in the views of Strangford Lough from the top of Windmill Hill and along the shore front and talked about the importance of Strangford Lough, how the ferry boat uses the current to cross the Lough, our local lighthouses and the important role of the RNLI.
