This week Primary 5 have been working hard on compass points. They have been introduced to the 8 points on the compass, new terminology such as clockwise/anti-clockwise and making connections to angles. As always, the boys and girls enjoyed the carousel activities between virtual tasks on Mathletics, written activities and practical outdoor compass point games. All of these multi-sensory activities really helped to consolidate this area of learning. The Corbett maths videos alongside Mathletics will be valuable resources in the lead up to the computerised assessments in May.
