This week, the children have been enjoying exploring poetry. Working in groups, they explored a range of poetry books, reading and sharing the poems they found most interesting. They explained the reasons behind their choices and compared and contrasted two poems, focusing on features such as rhyme, rhythm, presentation, meaning, punctuation, and overall style.
