We had a lovely visit from Vikki today with her Plant and Play Workshop! We started off with a story about Norman the Slug. We then made our own shells for Norman so he could be like the other snails in the story. Vikki brought some pea shoots with her and some of us tried them. They tasted just like peas! Next we all got to plant some peas of our own. We filled up our pots, added the seeds and put them in little bags to take home. Vikki was very impressed that we knew our plant would need sunlight and water to help it grow. Vikki also brought some toys with us to play with while the others were planting. We really enjoyed the workshop and can’t wait to watch our plants grow. Thank you, Vikki!
