We have been very busy working on ‘Persuasive Writing’ in class over the past few weeks. The boys and girls have been learning about the features of persuasive texts and the range of techniques used to capture the attention of the audience. The pupils of Primary Five were tasked with creating a persuasive letter highlighting the benefits of virtual homework. They were trying to encourage Mr Gilchrist to assign virtual homework for the last two weeks in June. In addition to letters they also produced some beautiful posters as a visual representation of their arguments. I am quietly confident that the children will be able to persuade Mr Gilchrist with their arguments. Great work as always P5!
