Our P7 pupils joined hundreds of schools from all over Ireland to take part in an exciting online maths quiz as part of Maths Week Ireland. The event tested pupils’ problem-solving skills and quick thinking as they competed in real time with classes across the country. There was great excitement when Kerry Gaelic footballer David Clifford made a surprise guest appearance, sharing how maths plays a role in sport and encouraging pupils to keep developing their numeracy skills. It was a fun and inspiring way to celebrate Maths Week and show that maths really is for everyone!
