P7 learn how to BE SAFE!
Primary 7 pupils recently attended the Be Safe event organised by Ards and North Down Borough Council, where they took part in a series of informative and engaging talks focused on keeping themselves safe in everyday situations. The children learned valuable advice from a home safety officer, representatives from Translink on bus safety, and Police Service of Northern Ireland on staying safe online. They also heard from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service about fire safety, a council law enforcement officer who discussed the impact of antisocial behaviour, and the council’s mental health team who spoke about building resilience and looking after their wellbeing. The event provided pupils with important knowledge and practical strategies to help them make safe and responsible choices in their daily lives.
