What a week for P4 as they worked on their ‘Whatever the Weather’ and ‘Noah’s Ark’ displays which brought together a lot of their WAU learning in many art and craft forms.
They also examined their mini daffodils as they have grown from bulb to shoot and then recently flowered in the classroom. They read the ‘Seed Song’ poem together and selected percussion instruments to accompany it. Final rehearsals are underway and we look forward to recording and sharing it with you.
During ‘Grow in Love’, the children continued with their preparations for Enrolment which will take place on 25th March at 2.15pm in the school gym. They learned about the importance of Lent and especially Holy Thursday for P4.
For working so hard, the boys and girls were rewarded with extra ICT time in class where they explored Scratch Junior, Mathletics, Dynamo and Dojo Island. There was great fun and excitement during these brilliant activities.
As part of World Book Week next week, P4 have been invited to Portaferry Library on the afternoon of Monday 2nd March. P4 parents, please ensure that your child wears his/her uniform and brings a coat. They will be back at school for normal pick up time.🌟
