Primary Four had another exciting week of learning with lots of mental maths lessons and games. The boys and girls enjoyed everything from UNO card games, to completing Times Tables Keyrings, 100 square work, Mathletics, Dynamo Maths as well as recording their thinking in their Numeracy exercise books in a super, organised, neat way.
For Literacy, it has been all about phonics and comprehension. The children showed great understanding of a range of passages from their Collins New Treasure House series.
During ‘Grow in Love’, the class learned about the different parts of the mass. They are beginning to learn important prayers like The Confiteor and some of the mass responses.
PE has been about coordination, balance and following simple routines and dances. Everyone had a fantastic time!
