Primary Four have been busy with their new Maths topic of Division. They are learning lots of new words for Division and how it is all about equal sharing at the moment. The class immediately saw that Division was directly related to Multiplication and were able to apply a lot of their Times Tables to solve their practical, workbook and textbook activities.
In the lead up to World Maths Day on 25th March, the boys and girls also got an opportunity to log on and complete the ‘Warm Up’ activities on Mathletics in class. Keep working on Mathletics at home everyone!
Literacy this week took the form of looking at the h/wh sound and poetry based comprehension.
The class also produced brilliant ‘Apostle Artwork’ for their upcoming Enrolment service which is also on 25th March.
Finally, the children have a really special treat for all their mums for ‘Mother’s Day’.
