Primary Four were delighted to be invited to a whole school assembly about the effects of Plastic Pollution in our local environment. Blair from Exploris provided a very informative and interactive lesson. The P4s were fully involved and knew many answers as they had covered lots of elements about ‘Waste’ in their previous WAU topic. Maol and Lucia, the P4 Eco-Council reps took the lead when they went back to class as the boys and girls enjoyed another PowerPoint presentation and completed art activities based on the topic. Well done P4! A big thank you from Mrs O’Neill and the P4s to Mr Smyth the Eco-Council coordinator for organising the visit from Blair to our school.
