Primary Four had a wonderful day at the IFA soccer stadium in Belfast today. They had a fantastic tour of the stadium with their Shared Education friends, enjoyed the interactive activities and took part in a Healthy Living workshop. Mrs O’Neill and Mary couldn’t believe how many Conor Bradley and George Best fans were in P4! The children certainly enjoyed the whole experience. The facilitators thought that that the boys and girls had the potential to be ‘Super Sportstars’ of the future in football, hurling, camogie, athletics and gymnastics and really encouraged them to stay fit and eat healthily so that they ‘can be the best that they can be’.
P4 are looking forward to their final trip next Tuesday, 3rd June to ‘We are Vertigo’. Parental waiver, consent forms for this trip have been sent home with the children. Please return asap.
