What a day in P4 when The Selkies came to visit! The music in the classroom was amazing, the singing was brilliant, the instrumentalists fantastic and the actions added to the whole experience. The Selkies were very impressed with the participation of the children and their knowledge of their topic. A big thank you to Moira and Portaferry Recreation Hub for all her help with this venture. We hope to see The Selkies again in school in Term 3.
P4 also took part in their sponsored walk today as part of The Cash for Kids fundraising event.
The children, Mrs O’Neill and Shena are ready for a well-earned weekend rest! Parents, don’t forget the P4 library visit on Monday; send a coat and packed lunch. We leave from school and will be back for normal pick-up time. Parents, work on this half-term’s spelling lists with your child as the Halloween spelling test will be early next week too.
