From Christmas crafts to designing Christmas jumpers and ‘Stars of Hope’, P4 have certainly shown a flair for all things artistic. They enjoyed learning about stories from The Old Testament and The New Testament as they helped Daniel and Jesse decorate the school ‘Jesse Tree’. During their recent visit to The Waterfront to see Rapunzel, some children even had the opportunity to get a photograph taken at Rapunzel’s tower before embarking on a Rapunzel comprehension piece in school the next day. Spellings, numberwork, fundraising and reading continued as assessments took place. The boys and girls also enjoyed lots of ‘Reading for Enjoyment Time’ with the books from our Portaferry Library Book Box. Finally, they completed their ‘Wild Weather’ WAU topic with some lovely stories and research on the C2K Newsdesk. Such a hardworking class!
