More amazing 3d STEM Lighthouse projects appeared in P4 this week. Well done everyone! They look fantastic, enabled the children to gain so many skills and tied the ‘Rescue at Sea’ WAU learning together as a home/school learning partnership activity.
P4 had a special visitor in class today. Fr McGrady talked to the children about the importance of learning their prayers and going to mass in preparation for First Holy Communion. Mrs O’Neill showed him the P4 work on ‘The Holy Land’. Fr Mc Grady took their Grow in Love map and talked about all the places he had visited there including Bethlehem, Capernaum, Jericho, Cana, The Sea of Galilee and Nazareth. The children were very impressed as it made their learning come to life.
Tomorrow is very busy day with lots of fundraising events and the P4 Sea Shanty Selkies visit. There will not be a spelling test in P4 tomorrow though homework packs are still due as normal. The big Halloween spelling test will be early next week. Well done to all the P4 children who received their Maths Week certificate in class today too!
