As part of their ‘Procedural Writing’ topic P4 made their very own ‘class bubble’ pot of yummy vegetable soup. They examined the fresh ingredients, talked about the utensils and used ‘bossy verbs’ to write out their recipe. They will also investigate a fabulous healthy eating website called www.greatgrubclub.com at home and in school to help with their work on healthy living and wellbeing. It just so happened that it was ‘National Soup Share Day’ that very day and we hope that the P4’s will share some of their chef tips with their families. I must say that all the work on handwriting over the last few weeks is really paying off too. Well done boys and girls and keep it up.
