P4 spent a lovely morning making Saint Brigid’s crosses with Catherine and Mary. They listened so intently to the instructions and figured out how to weave the rushes so that they criss crossed each other. Aine and Grace from P7 were super helpers too. The crosses will be blessed at mass tonight and the children can take them home from school tomorrow. Later on, P4 read stories about Saint Brigid’s life from their Grow in Love programme and enjoyed sequencing a story on the interactive whiteboard.
There was even time for 5x tables, spellings and Literacy work about prepositions from their new Collins grammar books as well as some ‘Report writing’ research on their WAU theme. Mrs O’Neill has put on some new Mathletics tasks to help with ‘Telling Time’ as this is part of our whole school development work on Measures. Continue to keep up the fantastic work at home and in school P4!
