Primary Four came into school on Monday morning to a few lovely surprises. Some of the seeds which they had sown only last week had sprouted over the weekend and some fantastic displays of their brilliant work for their ‘Gardening & Minibeast’ WAU topic had appeared for all to enjoy!
Later on, the class went over to the chapel for their very first rehearsal for First Holy Communion! Mrs O’Neill and Shena were so proud of everyone as they performed all their ‘special jobs’ brilliantly. Parents, the boys and girls need to continue to work on learning the Prayer after Communion; a copy of which has been sent home and there is also a copy in the photographs below, should you need it.
Spellings this week will focus on the n, nn, kn and gn sounds for P4. Again, some tricky silent letters to be aware of with your child.
Numeracy & Mathematics is all about revision of essential topics for class and home; money, block graphs, tally charts, pyramid problem-solving addition and subtraction as well as multiplication. Mrs O’Neill has put on lots of Mathletics tasks for the P4 children to aid with end of year revision. Parents, please log on with your child and check out their ‘To do’ list this week.
