‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ as they say in P4. The children worked so hard on their cards and banners as they helped to decorate their classroom and resource area in preparation for the holy, festive season ahead. Beautiful nativity scenes as well as interpretations of their own families adorned their cards while teamwork and fine motor skills were the essence of the banner work.
Maths this week took the form of working on Area, Tessellations and even solving Rubik Cubes!
For Literacy, it has been all about comprehension through Accelerated Reader quizzes and of course, ‘The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark’.
