We have been doing lots of work on measuring this term using non-standard units. Today's challenge was to find out the weight of the football using different items. We encountered some problems that we did not expect, for example who would have thought that a glue stick would be heavier than a ball!? We discovered that different items needed different amounts. Not a very sensible way to measure....I wonder if there is a better way?
