We were learning about alphabetical order this week in our Literacy. The challenge we had was to put our groups into alphabetical order by first name. We thought this would be easy but came across a few challenges. First of all, we didn't have a child for every letter of the alphabet and had to learn to skip some letters. Then we realised that some children's names began with the same letter. Four people in our class start with the letter A! We thought about this and solved the problem by looking at the second letter and in some cases the third letter in order to sort us out. Can you tell if we got it right?
