Today we went out into the playground to locate natural and man made things. We got into groups and collected as many small things as we could find. In the classroom we looked at these items, inspected them with magnifying glasses and sorted them. Some groups sorted by colour, others by hard and soft or size. We noticed that most things we had collected were natural and those that weren't didn't belong in the playground, e.g. food wrappers. It was good fun.
