Today we were lucky enough to be invited to Portaferry library. We listened to a lovely story about a girl discovering her love for books and then we had a quiz which was made up of a mixture of book and sport questions. The librarian showed us the section of the library for children's books and let us browse. Some children were able to borrow books if they had a library card. Some notes have gone home today for those children who would like to sign up for a card and take part in the Summer Reading Challenge in July. Thank you so much to the library for hosting us today.
