We had a fabulous day on Wednesday at Castle Ward. The children learned lots about the old house and old fashioned cooking, laundry and cleaning. They learned about Gothic and Classical architecture and the different types of rooms in stately homes. We had lunch in the courtyard in the company of chaffinches and fun in the park. The sun shone on us and we sang our way home to the delight of the lovely bus driver!
