It is autumn 🍂 and we have been learning all about autumn fruit and vegetables. Our favourite is the 🎃 so we decided to set our role play area up as a pumpkin patch. 🎃
We picked pumpkins and weighed them, talked about all the other vegetables for sale like aubergines 🍆 and broccoli 🥦 and decided how we would pay for them. We sorted the fruit and vegetables according to colour and made sets. We used lots of maths language like heavier, lighter, weigh, compare, how much and cost. There have been lots of learning opportunities, that all happened while we were playing and having fun 😃
