We took advantage of the lovely Autumn weather today and went on our first number and word hunt. Mrs Gibson had put 10 of our words hanging in the school grounds and we had to find them all. This was a tricky job and we were very lucky to each have a P7 to help us. We had to find a number, read the number, find the number on our page, read the 3 words beside that number and see which one of those words was hanging there. Then we circled it – what a lot of thinking and problem solving as well as reading. Thank you to our P7s for helping us and also for being our official photographers. We can’t wait to learn some new words so that we can do it again!
