Our Primary 1 children have been diving into their exciting new topic of Winter through a variety of playful, hands-on experiences. They’ve explored polar animal pawprints using playdough, enjoyed colour-by-number activities, and stepped into an imaginative world with Arctic camping role play. Small world setups featuring igloos and polar animals have sparked curiosity and storytelling, while the water tray has been filled with ice in different shapes and sizes for sensory exploration. These activities have helped the children learn about winter in a fun, creative, and engaging way. What a lovely, cosy topic for us to enjoy!
