As part of our learning about special places to pray, the children had a lovely visit to the chapel. Inside, we noticed many important features, including the altar, candles and religious symbols, and talked about why these help people to feel close to God when they pray. We loved seeing the beautiful display of the empty tomb which we had learned about before Easter. The children behaved with great reverence and respect, showing how calm and prayerful they could be in such a special place. Together, we said a prayer and lit a candle for people in our families who need our prayers, making it a meaningful and reflective experience for everyone.
