A big thanks to Vikki from Plant and Play who came to P1 today. We loved every minute. We started by feeling, smelling and tasting 3 plants and guessing what they were. They turned out to be mint, oregano and parsley - there were mixed reactions to these flavours! Then we were delighted to listen to a Supertato story and join in with actions - we do love Supertato in P1. While we drew our own ideas for fruit and vegetable superheroes (along with 1 ice-cream one), we took it in turns to plant scarlet runner beans which we hope will grow tall and strong like a Superplant. The last thing we did was to make super long stringy edible slime worms. They were really fun to dangle into our mouths and eat like spaghetti!
