Making the most of the glorious weather, we had lots of outdoor activities for the boys and girls today! There was a Lego station, where there were some fantastic constructions being made! We had a box of instruments and some of the girls created their own band! The water tray is always a popular choice on warm days! Our outdoor equipment was used for great balancing and climbing. At the drawing table, the children designed their own butterflies! The dump trucks and shovels were put to use digging up the stones. In the mud kitchen, we had lots of budding chefs who were keen to create stew, soup, pizza and cupcakes. I even got a ‘cup of coffee’ made for me! There was great team work on display and lots of fantastic language being used as they played and worked together! After all that activity, hands were washed and an outdoor picnic was well and truly earned for snack time! The photos below show our busy bees at work!
