Outdoor Fun in Nursery!
6th Nov 2025
We love getting outside in Nursery! Our Puddle Suits are great for keeping us warm and dry! Today, we had lots of different activities on the go. There were artists at work using chalk to draw pictures on the ground. There were climbers and balancers. At the garage, the cars were being parked ‘ready to be fixed’ and then the mechanics got to work. At the autumn treasures tray, there was a lot of inquisitive language being used. There were even unique creations being made. At the sand tray, some water had got in, which made our sand ‘squelchy, wet and gooey’. Buckets were filled and emptied many times! We had puzzle solvers in action too with great team work on display. In our Construction Area our builders were very busy! Walls were being built. Houses were constructed. We even had a bird’s nest being made because we had a lot of noisy birds beside us today. As they worked, they checked and measured each step. In our mud kitchen, the imaginations took off! We saw mixing, pouring, stirring, gathering and creating. They worked together to get pots of all shapes and sizes filled! The end results were apple pie, stew or stone soup! Great work boys and girls!
