Today was a very different day in Primary 3. Mr Berry was our new teacher. He started off by checking all the homework folders were sorted, then did the attendance and e-mailed Joanne the dinner numbers. At assembly he kept a keen eye out for any restless behaviour! Mr Berry helped to administer the spelling test and reading activities for each group. He had to find his teacher voice when he was calling out the instructions for the Maths Call activity. At 11.30 he attended a very important staff meeting in the staffroom and after lunch he did some marking while the children had Golden Time. Mr Berry was a very generous teacher and brought in sweets for everyone and made sure to give out housepoints for good behaviour and good work. He definitely deserves a week off after such hard work!
